We are called as Christian parents to take care of our children, to train them in the direction they should go. Prov 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." God gives us examples such as II Samuel 7:14 of being a father.
In this case a child is repentant for his behavior and now the father is being called to repent to the state for managing his family? Where is "Social Services" discernment? It is very obvious that the state looks to destroy a Christian family. The state now is looking to "abuse" the boy with public exposure of a private family matter just to make others of like mind to fear the state. Shame on the judge who ruled to take it to trial! The judge Daniel George should be removed from the bench!
The family was doing what it "believed" to be correct Prov 13:24. The state is overstepping its jurisdiction and authority of parents. Prov 29:15-17 gives parents direction and methods of training our children. God gives us the direction to raise our children, the state should be protecting that right and the Federal government should get their nose out of it.
The other thing which upsets me is that this is a "felony" charge which has life long ramifications to it. Why is this a federal crime!! We've lost our way, and we are a nation which knows not God.
My standards say that Obama's ideas of sex education of five year old kids is abuse. Lets charge Obama with a felony so that he can't be President!
As a side note, the "liberal" Judge Daniel George in this case is on the friends list for the "loser" Judge Butler. Incumbant Supreme Court Justice Butler lost the Wisconsin Supreme Court spring election earlier this year to a better man and good conservative judge who is now sitting where he ought to be.
