Dear Atheists, Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
The debate will be never ending between atheists and those who believe in God. Many times the debate is not available to be heard nor read. Here is an article about a well known atheist, his name is Christopher Hitchens. He died 12/15/11, possibly not believing in our Lord Jesus Christ. I say possibly because we can't know the heart in his last days.
This is a great article presented by Doug Wilson who is a believer. At the end of the article there is a debate available for reading. Not that anyone could be converted by mere words, it does take the Holy Spirit to regenerate and prepare the heart for faith. So, fear not, it's not these words that could convert an atheist so please read on and enjoy.
I do request that any who come here as an atheist that you take a bit of time to read and then review the debate at the end of the article. Its a six part series debate about "Is Christianity Good for the World?". Please, do consider wisely the resources you have in this world. Resources to not only live life to but also to understand how to have it in greater abundance.
Please see here the article about the death of Christopher Hitchens.
It seems to me that there is an ever increase of anger from atheists towards Christianity. It seems quite short sited in what they do when they tear down Christianity and have nothing to leave in its place. There are standards we are to govern ourselves, families, businesses, church and civil governments. These are all exactly true and there is nothing which will replace Christianity for it is the only way for man to live. Man has no set authority to abide by other than what we feel in our hearts at any convenient time or by some reason based on limited facts or understanding. These are the reasons we need to fear the Lord Christ and then begin to have knowledge.
See Proverbs 2:1-6. "My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; THEN shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."

Here is another debate online this time between Craig and Hitchens.
Here is a summary of that two hour debate between Craig and Hitchens.
Have a blessed day!
The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
And those who have not heard shall understand. To all active atheists who have made their lives not too much unlike Mr. Hitchens I do hope for your salvation. For a fuller story on how to change our walk and draw nearer to God go here to read about it's beginnings.
