  • Where should honest outrage be directed?

Corruption and unfairness has infiltrated the NFL and Monday Night Football has revealed another part of it. Many viewers who won’t raise a finger about the injustices in our courts, politics, political parties or education system have been now hit with unfairness in their favorite pass time the NFL…again! So today they all now need to take the time to yell "foul" and want something done to stop these atrocities going on with the NFL’s "judges and courts", i.e. the referees and replays!

It's really too bad that discernment and anger can’t be directed to other areas of our society which truly do seriously affect peoples lives and livelihoods. IF you’ve been putting up with the corruptness in the world around you, why would you think your make believe fantasy sports would be excluded above it all? Have you raised a concern of your own for those who have lost their real freedoms? IF not, then put up with the loss!

Can the people in Seattle really enjoy this victory? In today’s autonomous world, yes they will because for many the ends do justify the means.

The NFL has a bigger loss than the losers of that Monday night game.

    Have a blessed day.

  • Romney and Ryan are the solution? So, I'm told.

Are they even going to win?

I've never thought that Romney would put up a good campaign. I look at Dole and Kemp and then McStain and Palin as the examples of failures that Romney and Ryan are going to duplicate.  I'll bet in early or mid-October Obama will probably pull further ahead in the polls. Don't ask me why, I just think this ball game has a script to it already. Didn't you see the script playing at the RNC in August?

The way I see it, Ryan was the student of Jack Kemp and picked up his philosophy. He also gives the Romney campaign an enthusiasm boost like Palin did in McStain's campaign just a different way, remember? Romney, well, he's really not that enthusiastic a campaigner just like McCain and Dole. Seems to be a lot of duplication going on if you follow my thinking. The people didn't go for any of them, they all lost. I hope I'm wrong.

McStain and Palin lost their battle at the end of September when the polls took Obama ahead forever. IF you look at the electoral forecast count, there ain't much happening in favor of Romney right now either.

We, the people, need to really look at what the establishment is sending down our throats. The RNC rules were changed back in 2008 to help Romney get the nomination in 2012. Romney and Ryan are not going to pull enough moderates to win, this is my opinion anyway. When 70 or more percent of Americans are against the middle-east wars and we have the Republicans the ones who put us there it appears that Obama has the upper hand on that topic alone. I'm really hoping I'm wrong. Remember McCain campaigned said that he would keep us there for a hundred years or what ever it takes, wow. That position didn't win much. Now both campaigns are eying 2014 to leave the middle east. Ok, sure. As Clint Eastwood said to the chair, "Why don't you bring the troops home tomorrow?" Did you hear the huge applause after he said that? Seems like the Republican party delegates and office holders don't really spontaneously agree on this war either.

I don't see much economic relief from either of these candidates. The underlining issue is the federal reserve undermining our money. Neither obama nor Romney are willing to tackle the Federal reserve. Our money woes are not going to be taken care of by Ryan's plan any time soon. Romney's plan says, "Cut the Deficit".  His plan has us still running deficits, or simply put only making cuts in the increased spending is all. Where there's deficits there's still that addition to our overall debt. Other Republican candidates had bigger budget cuts and departmental elimination ideas, no body listened. I don't see that with any of our choices now. For the sake of a certain foreign policy we forgo our own houses' order. I'm hoping we don't go into hyper-inflation.

As for the Supreme Court nominees coming up, how did the Souter and Roberts appointments go so far? Both of these are Republican appointees. Not much different from a Democratic appointee to me especially when the non-legislative constitutional view was really needed. Wow again.

So, have at it, Go Romney for what its worth, there is little hope as far as I can see. Don't get me wrong, it's all in God's plan and what happens is according to His will and He always loves His remnant and takes care of them.  I'm looking to be faithful but there are few others that I can see doing so.

I always thought there was a more likely winner candidate in the Republican primary than Mitt. Problem is because many neo-cons did not want to rethink their aggressive foreign policy we now have a Mitt Romney causing a vicious Republican party split. For this reason, the Republican party has put the candidacy at risk to be lost again to the Democrats. The neo-cons have forced the Republican party into a foreign policy much different from the original view of our Constitution and founding fathers'. They have now alienated many of those who support a government returning to the standards of the U.S. Constitution, this is why Romney is not the answer. Too bad for America when so many have left the standards which make this country great.

Then there are the alternatives such as Constitution party Virgil Goode or the also running Libertarian Party with Gary Johnson.

    Have a blessed day

  • Interposition and new hearts could save our freedoms

    What to do....

Many of us struggle with election decisions and mourn over the usurpation of freedom by our government. We shake our heads at the hearts and thoughts of those who do not understand. Corruption hampers the recovery of our economy, government and has also infiltrated our election process which disables us from setting things right again. It frustrates us to a point of higher blood pressure and anger when we see in Tampa the one side chiding another for stances against corruption which they refuse to acknowledge or can not even discern. Conniving and compromising in the Ron Paul campaign makes many wonder who's being deceived and undermining the liberty efforts. Of course the media maybe the most blatantly corrupt of all and who can deal with their power and influence upon the people.

Many ongoing solutions have been thought of such as taking over a major party, supporting a third party (this'll teach'em), not voting at all (this'll really teach'em), teaching liberty through politics, blogging, writing our congressmen, rallies, protests or even violence. Some of these are ongoing and will continue for even a longer time and to what end? For example, there are many third parties and I've been a part of one for nearly 20 years with very little to no success. I too thought we're at least teaching them with our issues and positions. These efforts are not life changing enough it appears to me, many hear and walk onward with no thought of patronage or heart ties to liberty. The worldly things, as long as they're there, are powerful forces distracting a majority from the important issues in life. Others are concerned only with the money.

So, where does this leave us freedom lovers who see a country diminishing in standards, prosperity, wealth, stability and freedom? We need to first recognize what the problem truly is, corruption is sin. I know, some or even many of us don't subscribe to this definition but "we the people" denying it is the root of the problem. Our belief is what forms our politics. Our founding fathers looked towards their churches for guidance on these heart issues.

There is a tactic tried in the past and successful in many areas, it's called "Interposition of the Lesser Magistrates". It is that stepping in the gap between an oppressor and his intended victim. When it occurs the people should understand and reciprocate via supporting and protecting that magistrate (i.e. Ron Paul) and it has occurred in history. This does work unless the people are no longer virtuous. There are many examples of success in history, sadly too many more examples exist of the corruption. "There would NOT have been a successful Declaration of Independence without Christianity with out the faith of our lesser magistrates of that era." - Rev Sedlak, "Interposition and the War for Independence: The Revolt of the Lesser Magistrate"

How many have read of the sermons from that era of independence? Many who stirred the hearts of the men were called the Black Regiment. They taught and preached and many believed that the following is true. "No man, therefore, can be a good member of the community that is not as zealous to oppose tyranny as he is ready to obey magistracy..." - Rev. Samual West

Lawfully interposing oneself as a lesser magistrate in between the oppressor and victim is a possible solution against tyrants. The magistrate has the power given to them to step in, an action occurring many times during our lifetimes. Please read about this idea of the Interposition of the Lesser Magistrate at the URL below. http://visionviewpoint.com/blog/?p=261 .

The solution is not a Huckabee or Jesse Ventura in 2016 nor an older Ron Paul (bless his heart) in 2016. The solution must be that the hearts of the people be turned, for we have become a corrupt nation fallen far away from what was virtuous and right. Thus, the solution is in our churches as sad of a state they are mostly in, this too appears a distant recovery. We as a people need to repent or our sins(corruption). Those of us reading who are non-churched, or desire not the church, should see that the freedoms of this country were first thought of and protected by the principles of Christianity.

Again, please take the time to read the Interposition article and download the document here.
