"We the People" have put these minds in office. (But not I) Here are some quotes and headlines resulting from the fine public selection of its leaders. "We the People" have turned away from principles and appear to have no discernment to enable us to elect statesmen.

Wisconsin's kids shouldn't be allowed to fail just because Washington is failing them. -  WI Governor Jim Doyle (Can't blame the local government school system? It's not Washington's responsibility!)

The Wall Street Journal had reported on yet another socialist idea,  brainstormed by Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. The idea so naively populist and antimarket that you would think it came from Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. -  Paulson(Socialist) is Bush's(Socialist) Sec. Treasurer Appointee.

“When we went to Congress, illiquid assets looked like the way to go. As the situation worsened, the facts changed." - Paulson declared,. (Oh, so man is not all knowing? Number "one" reason to let the free market exist!)

So, are we all socialists?!  It appears so, no, wait I have one more person to quote. He's a True American.....

"We the People" have abandoned the American way of life. Most of us have voted for the quotes above. Only a few have recognized Ron Paul as a freedom lover.

So, as we continue to fall away from Godly principles in our personal lives we will then fall more and more into the hands of unjust government, a loss of our liberties and a loss of our inheritance.

I have to post this in its entirety. It is so true. Thank you Chuck Baldwin for running for us and being that true conduit of principles over politics. Conservatives Lost More Than An Election By Chuck Baldwin November 7, 2008 That Barack Obama trounced John McCain last Tuesday should have surprised no one. In fact, in this column, weeks ago, I stated emphatically that John McCain could no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton. He didn't. (Hence a vote for John McCain was a "wasted" vote, was it not?) I also predicted that Obama would win with an electoral landslide. He did. The real story, however, is not how Barack Obama defeated John McCain. The real story is how John McCain defeated America's conservatives. For all intents and purposes, conservatism--as a national movement--is completely and thoroughly dead. Barack Obama did not destroy it, however. It was George W. Bush and John McCain who destroyed conservatism in America. Soon after G.W. Bush was elected, it quickly became obvious he was no conservative. On the contrary, George Bush has forever established himself as a Big-Government, warmongering, internationalist neocon. Making matters worse was the way Bush presented himself as a conservative Christian. In fact, Bush's portrayal of himself as a conservative Christian paved the way for the betrayal and ultimate destruction of conservatism (something I also predicted years ago). And the greatest tragedy of this deception is the way that Christian conservatives so thoroughly (and stupidly) swallowed the whole Bush/McCain neocon agenda. For example, Bush and his fellow neocons like to categorize and promote themselves as being "pro-life," but they have no hesitation or reservation about killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people in reckless and unconstitutional foreign wars. By the same token, how many unborn babies were saved by six years of all three branches of the federal government being under the control of these "pro-life" neocons? Not one! Ask the more than eight million unborn babies who were killed in their mothers' wombs during the last eight years how "pro-life" George W. Bush and John McCain are. As a result of this insanely inconsistent and pixilated punditry, millions of Americans now laugh at the very notion of "pro-life" conservatism. Bush and McCain have made a mockery of the very term. Consider, too, the way Bush and McCain have allowed the international bankers on Wall Street to bilk America's taxpayers out of trillions of dollars. Yes, I know Obama also supported the Wall Street bailout, but it was the Republican Party that controlled the White House for the last eight years and the entire federal government for six out of the last eight years. In fact, the GOP has won seven out of the previous ten Presidential elections. They have controlled Supreme Court appointments for the past thirty-plus years. They have appointed the majority of Treasury secretaries and Federal Reserve chairmen. They have presided over the greatest trade imbalances, the biggest deficits, the biggest spending increases, and now the worst financial disaster since the Great Depression. Again, the American people look at these so-called "conservatives" and laugh. No wonder such a sizeable majority of voters yawned when John McCain tried to scare them by accusing Barack Obama of being a "big taxer." How can one possibly scare people with a charge like that after the GOP has made a total mockery of fiscal conservatism? That's like trying to scare someone coming out from a swim in the Gulf of Mexico with a squirt gun. Then there was the pathetic attempt by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to scare gun owners regarding an Obama White House. Remember that John McCain is the same guy that the NRA rightly condemned for proposing his blatantly unconstitutional McCain/Feingold bill. McCain is also the same guy that tried to close down gun shows. He even made a personal campaign appearance for a pro-gun control liberal in the State of Oregon a few short years ago. In fact, the Gun Owners of America (GOA) gave McCain a grade of "F" for his dismal record on Second Amendment issues. Once again, Chicken Little-style paranoia over Barack Obama rang hollow when the alternative was someone as liberal as John McCain. But the worst calamity of this election was the way conservatives--especially Christian conservatives--surrendered their principles for the sake of political partisanship. The James Dobsons of this country should hang their heads in shame! Not only did they lose an election, they lost their integrity! In South Carolina, for example, pro-life Christians and conservatives had an opportunity to vote for a principled conservative-constitutionalist for the U.S. Senate. He is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-traditional marriage. He believes in securing our borders against illegal immigration. He is against the bailout for the Wall Street banksters. His conservative credentials are unassailable. But the vast majority of Christian conservatives (including those at Bob Jones University) voted for his liberal opponent instead. The man that the vast majority of Christian conservatives voted for in South Carolina is a Big-Government neocon. He supported the bailout of the Wall Street banksters. He is a rabid supporter of granting amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. In fact, this man has a conservative rating of only 29% in the current Freedom Index of the New American Magazine. Why did Christian conservatives support the liberal neocon and not the solid pro-life conservative? Because the conservative ran as a Democrat and the neocon is a Republican. I'm talking about the race between Bob Conley and Lindsey Graham, of course. Had South Carolina's pastors, Christians, evangelicals, and pro-life conservatives voted for Bob Conley, he would be the new senator-elect from that state. In fact, Bob was so conservative that the Democratic leadership in South Carolina endorsed the Republican, Lindsey Graham! No matter. A majority of evangelical Christians in South Carolina stupidly rejected Bob Conley and voted for Graham. Across the country, rather than stand on principle, hundreds of thousands of pastors, Christians, and pro-life conservatives capitulated and groveled before John McCain's neocon agenda. In doing so, they forfeited any claim to truth, and they abandoned any and all fidelity to constitutional government. They should rip the stories of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of their Bibles. They should never again tell their children, parishioners, and radio audiences the importance of standing for truth and principle. They have made a mockery of Christian virtue. No wonder a majority of the voting electorate laughs at us Christians. No wonder the GOP crashed and burned last Tuesday. Again, it wasn't Barack Obama who destroyed conservatism; it was George W. Bush, John McCain, and the millions of evangelical Christians who supported them. And until conservatives find their backbone and their convictions, they deserve to remain a burnt-out, has-been political force. They have no one to blame but themselves. And since it is unlikely that the Republican Party has enough sense to understand any of this and will, therefore, do little to reestablish genuine conservative principles, it is probably best to just go ahead and bury the scoundrels now and move on to something else. Without a sincere commitment to constitutional government, the GOP has no justifiable reason to ever govern again. Therefore, put a fork in them. They are done. Let a new entity arise from the ashes: one that will stand for something more than just "the lesser of two evils." As we say in the South, That dog just won't hunt anymore. Time is drawing near for us to vote.

Are we going to vote based on our fears? God says we are not to fear man, but rather fear HIM and that done with a reverent fear.

All who desire a constitutional government and will "not fear" to vote for a "non-socialist" freedom loving candidate have a choice with Chuck Baldwin.

Are we not FED UP with the old politics of the Republicans/Democrats? Why would anyone prefer to vote for who might win rather than who is fit for the office and will defend the Constitution?

There is more at the voting booth for us to choose from than just the sliding to the left Socialist Republicans and Democrats.

Remember Reagan WAS a democrat. He said that he didn't leave the Democrat party but that it had left him. So way back in time, he joined the Republicans. Now we come to 2008 and how the "Republican" party doesn't support Reagan's ideas any more. So which way are we heading with either of these candidates!?

Do we really think we have what is called a "conservative" to vote for on the Republican ticket? We must see that the two major parties have just provide us two liberal democrats!! There are no more conservatives to vote for unless we go with Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party. Yes, he is electorally qualified and capable of winning the election.

NO, I don't think he will win yet the choice is there and each time we support these people we get our ideas and principles represented.

Let's not stain our vote upon a party which we know will support ideas contrary to our values and our Constitution. Did we all notice that both Republican and Democratic candidates voted for the bailout? We're called to vote our conscience and not because of any fear of someone else getting in. Let's vote principles over politics.

We should also realize that choosing the lesser of two evils still leaves us with evil. Obama is coaxing or tempting the people with covetous idea and many have fallen for his un-godly socialism.

Meanwhile, the Republican debates are privately owned and managed. Who's ideas do you think get included and excluded?

We are called as Christian parents to take care of our children, to train them in the direction they should go. Prov 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." God gives us examples such as II Samuel 7:14 of being a father.

In this case a child is repentant for his behavior and now the father is being called to repent to the state for managing his family? Where is "Social Services" discernment? It is very obvious that the state looks to destroy a Christian family. The state now is looking to "abuse" the boy with public exposure of a private family matter just to make others of like mind to fear the state. Shame on the judge who ruled to take it to trial! The judge Daniel George should be removed from the bench!

The family was doing what it "believed" to be correct Prov 13:24. The state is overstepping its jurisdiction and authority of parents. Prov 29:15-17 gives parents direction and methods of training our children. God gives us the direction to raise our children, the state should be protecting that right and the Federal government should get their nose out of it.

The other thing which upsets me is that this is a "felony" charge which has life long ramifications to it. Why is this a federal crime!! We've lost our way, and we are a nation which knows not God.

My standards say that Obama's ideas of sex education of five year old kids is abuse. Lets charge Obama with a felony so that he can't be President!

As a side note, the "liberal" Judge Daniel George in this case is on the friends list for the "loser" Judge Butler. Incumbant Supreme Court Justice Butler lost the Wisconsin Supreme Court spring election earlier this year to a better man and good conservative judge who is now sitting where he ought to be.

The voting time is near and many have probably voted via absentee. So, here it is again. I can't say it enough. Obama is a big mistake and an enemy of the freedoms we hold dear.

If you are a gun owner you will not enjoy the next four years. With either candidate it may be difficult but with Obama it will be most "fearful". The leftists have really put a ruse before the American people and because many do not even know where their rights come from the majority seems to be wanting Obama. I hate polls and this concerns most of us "freedom" lovers.

I've received a notice in the email from a great group of people at the Gun Owners of America. The highlight of what they are saying is this, "Americans---Be afraid . . . be very afraid!"

So here are the concerns and woe unto you who decide to vote the freedoms "from" you neighbors because of your selfishness, ignorance and/or the common problem of seeking to control others' lives.

....will you vote the same usual way and take us down the same Republican/Democrat path? There's talk of a need for change and I agree but, it must be a change for the "better".  Obama can keep his change and McCain ain't change.

Are we not being taken down the road leading to the destruction of this nation as you and I know it? Please take a serious look and listen to what these two men in these videos have to say, especially Chuck Baldwin's. The problems have been put into place years ago and we need to replace them with what we had before. Assist and support others to put the Constitution back under our light of protection and support. We've forgotten our roots and we need to do a grafting of this time with the principles this nation was founded upon. Have you even heard the word "Constitution" mentioned in any of the major party debates?

Tell yourself honestly after viewing these videos that you don't want what is spoken and will still continue to vote for either McCain or Obama. At which point this nation will then become enabled to continue to fall deeper into the realms of socialism and "spreading of the wealth" for everyone. On the other hand if you truly cherish the principles listed by these men then what can you do? Don't waste your vote on something that won't bring the right change. Don't waste your vote on Obama's changes for the worse! Instead, Vote for Chuck Baldwin.

How can you vote for McCain!? I'm not saying Obama is the one either that goes without saying. Both of these guys voted to pay the ransom money to the bankers. Ron Paul voted against it! Chuck Baldwin would have vetoed it. We as a people got railroaded into socialism with this 700 billion dollar bailout(ransom payment)!

Seriously, it is everyones fault who is voting for McCain that the right man will not get to become president. You all blew away Ron Paul in the primaries not recognizing his great economic insight and his respect of OUR Constitution. You will be taking votes away from the Constitution party candidate Chuck Baldwin by voting for the Republican or Democratic candidates. Why not solve the whole blasted issue by having those who oppose the war to vote for Chuck Baldwin, and all those who favor freedom and the free market principles of this great nation vote for Chuch Baldwin also. Everyone likes to compromise so why not compromise on these two things. I just can't see how YOU people desire to vote McCain just because he's the big guy who will battle the terrorists! McCain is not the only man who will defend this nation and I'm sure looking for someone who would do so according to the Constitution! McCain is the lessor of two evils and if you vote HIM in you will still have EVIL!

What about that debate last night or rather the candidate talk show? It wasn't a debate it was a candidate vomiting ideas from the mouth show. Terrible!!! I didn't hear the word Constitution nor the word un-Constitutional mentioned last night. Why not? Because YOU don't desire to abide by it any more and select candidates who don't care either. We will be just making more and more laws that will scramble this great nation. God please do have mercy on US!!!

And did the McCain voters hear what their socialist candidate wants to do next? He wants to “order the secretary of the treasury to immediately buy up the bad home loan mortgages in America…” He did not tell how he was going to fund this either but, hey its just another knee jerk idea coming out of his brain last night which his party was trying to down play today. He also said that just after the statement “We obviously have to stop this spending spree that’s going on in Washington.” My God people, don't you see the failures of these two candidates to be able to protect this nation or to keep this nation from becoming a socialist state. Obama despises the free market!!! You want a communist or fascist state? He blames the poor economy upon free capitalism!? The people falling for this guy need their heads and hearts examined BEFORE the election. Obama and McCain will steal us blind. Anyone voting for them are thieves also.

God said that stealing is wrong, Deuteronomy 5:6,19; "I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee OUT of the land of Egypt, from the house of BONDAGE....19. Neither shalt thou steal."

If YOU vote for either of these Republican or Democratic candidates I then interpret your desires are to steal my hard earned money from me and my friends. I also consider you to be a threat to my freedoms because you desire not to elect someone who is known to protect the freedoms I or my friends hold dear. You are selecting candidates who do not respect the constitution which is there to protect my freedoms. I see a major problem here, YOU do not care about your fellow citizen.

Don't give me the line that I need to vote for the lesser of two evils. That doesn't fly with me. YOU desire to violate the Constitution by providing candidates who will not govern by it. I'm not helping putting into office such thieves, liars, and haters of righteousness and again those who vote for them are no better for there is someone right for the job for whom they could have voted.

Here is an endorsement of the greater kind. From one Constitutional candidate with principles to another. Ron Paul deciding not to run for President on a third party ticket and not desiring to endorse his own party's left leaning neocon John McCain has endorsed the Constitution Party's Candidate Chuck Baldwin.

I could see nothing else Ron Paul could do after turning down John McCain's pursuit of Paul's endorsement. Sighting many differing principles Ron Paul refused to endorse John McCain. Ron Paul could not degrade his many years of speaking, voting and hard fought reputation of governing by Constitutional standards. Endorsing anyone other than Chuck Baldwin would be a termination of all integrity assigned to this great Congressman.

It will be interesting and is my guess that there will be Republican lefties (RINO's i.e. Republican in name only) seeking Ron Paul's resignation from Congress as a "Republican". Paul will probably argue the point that those who do so should be the ones to leave for they are RINO's and neocons who have abandoned the "conservative" (what ever that means these days) principles of the Republican party of old.

So if its Constitution Day then how are we to honor it? One way is to keep politicians from destroying it. One example of the constitution being ignored is how much it is mentioned in the news today. They don't really want to be cause of all the "unconstitutional" takeovers happening now. What a shame.

I have a hard time thinking this country is capable of honoring it any more. The question I hear most is "will a politician do or know to do what is right for America." I think to be more accurate we should ask, "Does he know the Constitution and will he govern by it?"

Just as Ron Paul had sadly stated, "There is plenty of unconstitutionality for everyone."

So, IF we were to honor the day maybe we would venture into the history of it and discover interesting facts.

Find a blog about the Early Christian life in America.

Maybe join the "Constitution Party"?

Compare us with China's constitution.

Or just start getting it touch with our Congress and see what is happening in our nation's capital.

What ever we do, let us give thanks to God for this nation and for what it once stood for, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.  Oh, wait thats not in the Constitution, is it?
