  • Frustrated citizen of the U.S., the deck being stacked against “real” people!!

Elections Should Belong To The People

For most of the Twentieth Century (and now into the Twenty First Century), the American citizenry has had precious little say about who represents them in Washington, D.C., as well as in many, if not most, State posts. Oh, I realize that every two years the American people (well, about half of those who are eligible) go through the motions of voting. (They did that in Venezuela, too, didn’t they?) But the truth of the matter is elections have become almost exclusively the domain of the well-financed special interest groups that control the two major parties. The individual citizen has almost no voice–especially in national elections.

Without trying to beat a dead horse, I want to mention again what the national Republican Party machine (along with the national news media) did to Ron Paul and his supporters in this year’s primary elections proves beyond any shadow of a doubt the deceit, duplicity, and dishonesty that defines major party politics. Anyone who believes that Mitt Romney won his party’s nomination freely and fairly is either totally ignorant of what really happened or is thoroughly deluded. And unless people in Venezuela were killed or imprisoned, Ron Paul’s supporters were no less mistreated than were Hugo Chaves’ opponents.

When I was nominated by the Constitution Party in 2008, I became one of only six Presidential candidates who were on enough State ballots that year to theoretically have the potential to obtain enough electoral votes to win the Presidency. The others were Bob Barr (Libertarian), Ralph Nader (Independent), Cynthia McKinney (Green), Barack Obama (Democrat), and John McCain (Republican). But of course, the only candidates that were allowed to participate in the national debates were Obama and McCain. Why? The two major parties control the Presidential Debate Commission.

Do readers not find it more than interesting that when the US government took control of Iraq, they demanded that Iraqi elections reflect and represent the entire country and insisted that Iraqi elections be open to “all.” That’s why you saw over twenty, or maybe even thirty, different political parties participate in Iraq’s elections. This was done with the approbation and, in fact, insistence of the US government. Yet, in here in America, only two parties are allowed to fully participate in the election process: the Democrat and Republican parties.

In any given Presidential election only about half of qualified voters in this country (more or less) bother to go to the polls and vote. That means our President is elected with a little over one quarter of the voters’ support. That’s hardly a majority! And the reason that most of those people who don’t vote stay home is because they are totally frustrated with the American political system. They have zero confidence in either major political party or the puppet Presidential candidates that they put before the American people. Who can blame them?

Since the two major parties control the election process, they have made it almost impossible for third parties, or even non-establishment party candidates within the two major parties, to succeed. Election laws at the federal and State levels are so egregiously discriminating that anyone who is deemed an “outsider” (meaning, non-establishment) rarely prevails.

Here in Montana, a Constitution Party candidate, Rick Jore, was elected to the Montana House of Representatives a few years ago. And I’m sure that one could locate a smidgen of local or State races that were won by Libertarian Party candidates. Of course, the biggest prize won by a third party candidate in recent memory was the election of Jesse Ventura (Libertarian Party) as Minnesota’s governor back in 1998. But that’s it.

Of course, back when America was a lot freer, having multiple parties represented in a national election was much more common. For example, Abraham Lincoln was one of six major party candidates, and he won with only 39% of the vote. And by today’s definition, Lincoln’s Republican Party would have been considered a “third” party by the political establishment. Yet, the political process freely accommodated no less than six parties in the election of 1860. Is it a coincidence that in 2008 six Presidential candidates met the threshold of being on enough State ballots to theoretically win the election? If the same rules governing national elections that apply today had applied in 1860, Lincoln would have never gone to the White House.

And there is no more egregious example of the way election rules violate a free and fair election process than the manner in which individuals are prohibited from contributing to a candidate’s campaign. Both federal and most State election laws set limits (meager at that) on how much money an individual may give to their preferred candidate. Yet, there is absolutely no limit to what the candidate himself or herself might donate to his or her own campaign. And there is almost no limit to what special interest PACs are able to give. You call this free? You call this fair?

For example, when I ran in 2008, a man wanted to donate $2 million to my campaign (a paltry sum compared to what the two major party candidates receive), but was not allowed to do so, because of federal elections laws–which were put in place by the two major parties, of course. And many others wanted to give generous amounts as well but were likewise prohibited from doing so.

So, the net result is only the rich and powerfully connected good-old-boys are able to prevail in most elections. If one is not extremely wealthy or extremely articulate and charismatic or extremely lucky, the only people who have a chance at winning even local races are elitist establishment types. Thankfully, in spite of the deck being stacked against “real” people, some manage to prevail–mostly at the State and local levels, of course. But almost always after arriving at their State capitol or county seat, they find themselves vastly outnumbered. And, as Sonny and Cher sang, “The Beat Goes On.”

And this column isn’t even dealing with the subject of vote fraud, which is a real issue that hardly anyone wants to talk about. And, yes, there is enough evidence to dogmatically say that vote fraud was employed in the primaries against Ron Paul in more than one State.  (or…election fraud? – My comment)

Here in the State of Montana, included on every ballot is a line underneath each race that voters can write “No,” or “None of the above.” Should “No” receive more votes than the candidates listed, a special election would have to be called with new candidates. I don’t mind telling you that I will be voting “No” on several races this year. I wonder what would happen if just one time–one time!–voters rejected both candidates for a given race. Wouldn’t you love to see that happen just once? Wow! I sure would. I am sick to my stomach of having to choose between CFR candidate A and CFR candidate B, between elitist establishment candidate A and elitist establishment candidate B. Aren’t you?

At some point, the American people have got to take back their elections, because right now they don’t belong to the people; they belong to the elitist establishment. And that’s why it normally doesn’t matter to a tinker’s dam who gets elected. And that’s why nothing changes. And that’s also why about half of the American people don’t even bother to vote. But instead of not voting, I wish they would all show up on November 6 and vote “None of the above” and send these elitist creeps back where they came from.

  • Where should honest outrage be directed?

Corruption and unfairness has infiltrated the NFL and Monday Night Football has revealed another part of it. Many viewers who won’t raise a finger about the injustices in our courts, politics, political parties or education system have been now hit with unfairness in their favorite pass time the NFL…again! So today they all now need to take the time to yell “foul” and want something done to stop these atrocities going on with the NFL’s “judges and courts”, i.e. the referees and replays!

It’s really too bad that discernment and anger can’t be directed to other areas of our society which truly do seriously affect peoples lives and livelihoods. IF you’ve been putting up with the corruptness in the world around you, why would you think your make believe fantasy sports would be excluded above it all? Have you raised a concern of your own for those who have lost their real freedoms? IF not, then put up with the loss!

Can the people in Seattle really enjoy this victory? In today’s autonomous world, yes they will because for many the ends do justify the means.

The NFL has a bigger loss than the losers of that Monday night game.

    Have a blessed day.

  • Romney and Ryan are the solution? So, I’m told.

Are they even going to win?

I’ve never thought that Romney would put up a good campaign. I look at Dole and Kemp and then McStain and Palin as the examples of failures that Romney and Ryan are going to duplicate.  I’ll bet in early or mid-October Obama will probably pull further ahead in the polls. Don’t ask me why, I just think this ball game has a script to it already. Didn’t you see the script playing at the RNC in August?

The way I see it, Ryan was the student of Jack Kemp and picked up his philosophy. He also gives the Romney campaign an enthusiasm boost like Palin did in McStain’s campaign just a different way, remember? Romney, well, he’s really not that enthusiastic a campaigner just like McCain and Dole. Seems to be a lot of duplication going on if you follow my thinking. The people didn’t go for any of them, they all lost. I hope I’m wrong.

McStain and Palin lost their battle at the end of September when the polls took Obama ahead forever. IF you look at the electoral forecast count, there ain’t much happening in favor of Romney right now either.

We, the people, need to really look at what the establishment is sending down our throats. The RNC rules were changed back in 2008 to help Romney get the nomination in 2012. Romney and Ryan are not going to pull enough moderates to win, this is my opinion anyway. When 70 or more percent of Americans are against the middle-east wars and we have the Republicans the ones who put us there it appears that Obama has the upper hand on that topic alone. I’m really hoping I’m wrong. Remember McCain campaigned said that he would keep us there for a hundred years or what ever it takes, wow. That position didn’t win much. Now both campaigns are eying 2014 to leave the middle east. Ok, sure. As Clint Eastwood said to the chair, “Why don’t you bring the troops home tomorrow?” Did you hear the huge applause after he said that? Seems like the Republican party delegates and office holders don’t really spontaneously agree on this war either.

I don’t see much economic relief from either of these candidates. The underlining issue is the federal reserve undermining our money. Neither obama nor Romney are willing to tackle the Federal reserve. Our money woes are not going to be taken care of by Ryan’s plan any time soon. Romney’s plan says, “Cut the Deficit”.  His plan has us still running deficits, or simply put only making cuts in the increased spending is all. Where there’s deficits there’s still that addition to our overall debt. Other Republican candidates had bigger budget cuts and departmental elimination ideas, no body listened. I don’t see that with any of our choices now. For the sake of a certain foreign policy we forgo our own houses’ order. I’m hoping we don’t go into hyper-inflation.

As for the Supreme Court nominees coming up, how did the Souter and Roberts appointments go so far? Both of these are Republican appointees. Not much different from a Democratic appointee to me especially when the non-legislative constitutional view was really needed. Wow again.

So, have at it, Go Romney for what its worth, there is little hope as far as I can see. Don’t get me wrong, it’s all in God’s plan and what happens is according to His will and He always loves His remnant and takes care of them.  I’m looking to be faithful but there are few others that I can see doing so.

I always thought there was a more likely winner candidate in the Republican primary than Mitt. Problem is because many neo-cons did not want to rethink their aggressive foreign policy we now have a Mitt Romney causing a vicious Republican party split. For this reason, the Republican party has put the candidacy at risk to be lost again to the Democrats. The neo-cons have forced the Republican party into a foreign policy much different from the original view of our Constitution and founding fathers’. They have now alienated many of those who support a government returning to the standards of the U.S. Constitution, this is why Romney is not the answer. Too bad for America when so many have left the standards which make this country great.

Then there are the alternatives such as Constitution party Virgil Goode or the also running Libertarian Party with Gary Johnson.

    Have a blessed day

  • Interposition and new hearts could save our freedoms

    What to do….

Many of us struggle with election decisions and mourn over the usurpation of freedom by our government. We shake our heads at the hearts and thoughts of those who do not understand. Corruption hampers the recovery of our economy, government and has also infiltrated our election process which disables us from setting things right again. It frustrates us to a point of higher blood pressure and anger when we see in Tampa the one side chiding another for stances against corruption which they refuse to acknowledge or can not even discern. Conniving and compromising in the Ron Paul campaign makes many wonder who’s being deceived and undermining the liberty efforts. Of course the media maybe the most blatantly corrupt of all and who can deal with their power and influence upon the people.

Many ongoing solutions have been thought of such as taking over a major party, supporting a third party (this’ll teach’em), not voting at all (this’ll really teach’em), teaching liberty through politics, blogging, writing our congressmen, rallies, protests or even violence. Some of these are ongoing and will continue for even a longer time and to what end? For example, there are many third parties and I’ve been a part of one for nearly 20 years with very little to no success. I too thought we’re at least teaching them with our issues and positions. These efforts are not life changing enough it appears to me, many hear and walk onward with no thought of patronage or heart ties to liberty. The worldly things, as long as they’re there, are powerful forces distracting a majority from the important issues in life. Others are concerned only with the money.

So, where does this leave us freedom lovers who see a country diminishing in standards, prosperity, wealth, stability and freedom? We need to first recognize what the problem truly is, corruption is sin. I know, some or even many of us don’t subscribe to this definition but “we the people” denying it is the root of the problem. Our belief is what forms our politics. Our founding fathers looked towards their churches for guidance on these heart issues.

There is a tactic tried in the past and successful in many areas, it’s called “Interposition of the Lesser Magistrates”. It is that stepping in the gap between an oppressor and his intended victim. When it occurs the people should understand and reciprocate via supporting and protecting that magistrate (i.e. Ron Paul) and it has occurred in history. This does work unless the people are no longer virtuous. There are many examples of success in history, sadly too many more examples exist of the corruption. “There would NOT have been a successful Declaration of Independence without Christianity with out the faith of our lesser magistrates of that era.” – Rev Sedlak, “Interposition and the War for Independence: The Revolt of the Lesser Magistrate”

How many have read of the sermons from that era of independence? Many who stirred the hearts of the men were called the Black Regiment. They taught and preached and many believed that the following is true. “No man, therefore, can be a good member of the community that is not as zealous to oppose tyranny as he is ready to obey magistracy…” – Rev. Samual West

Lawfully interposing oneself as a lesser magistrate in between the oppressor and victim is a possible solution against tyrants. The magistrate has the power given to them to step in, an action occurring many times during our lifetimes. Please read about this idea of the Interposition of the Lesser Magistrate at the URL below. http://visionviewpoint.com/blog/?p=261 .

The solution is not a Huckabee or Jesse Ventura in 2016 nor an older Ron Paul (bless his heart) in 2016. The solution must be that the hearts of the people be turned, for we have become a corrupt nation fallen far away from what was virtuous and right. Thus, the solution is in our churches as sad of a state they are mostly in, this too appears a distant recovery. We as a people need to repent or our sins(corruption). Those of us reading who are non-churched, or desire not the church, should see that the freedoms of this country were first thought of and protected by the principles of Christianity.

Again, please take the time to read the Interposition article and download the document here.

  • Say it, “Romney…..YOU WILL NOT PASS!”

I received a call yesterday by the RNC to encourage me to support and donate money to their Presidential nominee Mitt Romney. I asked him how can that be, there’s still another candidate running isn’t there? What’s his name, Newt, Santorum or someone, right? He then mentioned Ron Paul but that Romney is our new Republican presidential nominee. I said that’s premature, the convention in August has to elect the nominee and that hasn’t taken place yet.

I then mentioned that I didn’t like Romney and felt that the RNC has jammed this guy down the throats of all us voters. You’re heading to another McCain (McStain) failure and four more years of Obama. Romney is not electable, Ron Paul is more electable than Romney. He claimed unless I wanted another four years of Obama I should donate to RNC to elect their nominee Mitt. I told him it’s not me but rather I think that the RNC are the ones wanting another Obama because they’re intentionally backing a loser, again! He thought that was an interesting twist.

I told him how the RNC has turned their back on the Constitution and can’t respect the rule of law because they’ve demonstrated how they are willing to violated even their own platform rules for electing a nominee and have failed us the voting public by denying an honest primary election process.

He said we can’t all see eye to eye on all the issues but that Romney is who we needed to support. I said, fine but he should have given in then and supported the core values of this nation’s constitution and supported Ron Paul. Why don’t YOU put aside the nation building and support Ron Paul for a more likely victory.

I encouraged him to have a nice day and hung up. I kept him busy for 10 minutes or so with no money coming.

So, I’m looking forward to the delegate counts in August. Go Ron Paul delegate!! Hold your ground and tell Romney you WILL NOT PASS!!! Abstain! and then vote Ron Paul!!

    Have a blessed day.

  • Ron Paul will be at the Republican National Convention

UPDATE: Our representative process is in action. RNC has rules to follow for selecting delegates and voting. Please remember that elected state delegates are not bound to vote at the convention according to the states election results. Ron Paul delegates in states have been and are actively winning. They had been winners during the caucuses in each of the states even though he may not have won that state’s straw poll primary. When you see a primary win by another, that candidate should get his or her delegates elected in that same state’s caucuses as well. Since those RP delegates have been winning those positions they go on and become active in their respective conventions.  At these state  conventions Ron Paul people further get involved in the process and elect the next stage of convention representatives for August. This is what the plan has been all along and is happening NOW. Ron Paul is winning “convention” delegates.

Dominating conventions see news report here.

Since the beginning of the primary season the media pundits continued to either never think it could work or they didn’t understand. They continued this way despite Ron Paul’s energetic explanations in his “victory speeches” after each of the state primary/caucus events. They are now looking to stigmatize the process Ron Paul’s campaign had undertaken. Stating that he is trying to upset the convention when all along RNC rules are being followed to get our guy elected. This process is being followed simply because of the expected misrepresentation of his views by the main stream media (MSM) smear campaign. Yet, Ron Paul had stated what his plan was and some people didn’t listen or failed to understand. All along the MSM has not played well to Ron Paul but you’ll notice when people honestly get to hear him and his true position on topics and policies without the injection of insults or smears he wins many hearts/votes. The crowd sizes at Ron Paul’s events since January have increased up to 10,000 people at each event, this latest 10,000 attendance was with just a five day notice of when and where the event was to take place. Have you noticed much media coverage? No, and that is what has been expected and planned for, the media is not friendly to conservative ideas. Go Ron Paul delegates! The rest of the Republicans will be forced to open the door of the convention to let Ron Paul in; how wide? That will be interesting to find out in August. Who will be the first one out of the convention smiling? Well, we’ll just have to see come August in Tampa.

    Check this out.

February through April rallies…no media coverage.

Yes, Ron Paul will be at the Republican national convention, he will be packing delegates.

Kind of like CCW but concealed and carrying delegates.

Ben Swan offline interview about understanding delegates and their ramification plus Rule 38, i.e. delegates can not be bound.

    It is not over.

  • Dr. Paul: Living and governing with Christian Principles.

    In this video,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4vnCwM9cIg

Ron Paul shares his life’s principles. He covers his understanding of family values, and the roles of individuals and government.

Here is a list of items he mentions in this video. For quick reference I’ve included the video time in parenthesis. Christians should recognize these values. These are the values which Ron Paul lives by.

    1. He describes what fascinates him about new life and the natural value of life seen in each other. (1:06)
    2. He believes that the family is under attack and has some ideas of what to do about it. He also mentions an important reference in the bible as a description of and a warning for the today’s family. (1:30)
    3. Biblical teachings in I Samuel 8 there are warnings to the people about having a king to make them safe and secure. With a king like other nations the people’s morals would be superseded and their family members and wealth would be used by the king for his own purposes, i.e. the state’s purposes. Ron describes the shift from a governing body of family and judges towards a king, i.e. today’s federal government. I Samuel 8:10-22
    4. “We have too often relied on our king in Washington and we have to “change” that.” (3:00)
Ron Paul compares these warning in Samuel to how we the people have now have relied too much upon the Federal Government as their king today and how we need to heed this warning now and change the current role of federal government or else it will be too late.
    5. He explains that a nations law can never change the morality of the people but rather the laws do reflect the morality or immorality of a people. (3:40) (very important point) Later on Ron Paul mentions that the morality of a nation will come from the individuals, families and the church.
    6. Explains progressing of laws changing as the people’s hearts and morality had changed. Vietnam war, drugs and decade of abortion violations, etc. (4:15)
    7. Biblical mandate of honest money. No central banking system! (4:35)
    8. Welfare and benefits. Moral society has changed. Cradle to grave mentality is not a biblical mandate. (6:00) These are the responsibility of the family and churches.
    9. Dr. Paul talks about just war principles and where that originated. In both the Old and New Testament Christ was recognized as the Prince of Peace. What are we to be-the peace makers or the war makers? (6:12)
Going to war should always be done under the proper authority. “Today, I think the proper authority is NOT the UN or the NATO authorities that take us to war!” (7:30) Just war principles.
    10. Caring for the poor, family, neighbors and friends is a personal responsibility. (7:50)
Do we need more laws or a better understanding of our Christian principles.
    11. Ron Paul is pro-life!! “You can not be a great defender of Liberty if you do not defend and understand what life is all about and where it comes from.” (8:27)
    12. A biblical Foreign policy based upon the golden rule. (9:18)
The book of Isaiah reference to the ending of wars. Reasons why wars undermine our families, it is one of the greatest threats to our families. Peace is far superior to war.(9:55)
    13. Ron’s vision. His explanation of what is the proper goal of a free society seeking virtue and excellence as individuals. Also, explains how we are losing our liberty. Get rid of dept of education-responsibility of parents.(13:09)
    14. Where do our morals and values come from? Not the government! Individuals, family and our churches, that is where our moral values should come from and that is where we have slipped. (14:20)
“We must change our hearts if we expect to change our family and treat our family values as it should be.” (15:09)
    15. Debt. We have been blessed in this country. Debt is not a biblical principle. We are living way beyond our means, whether personal and national. (15:25)
Proper role and responsibility of government. (16:00) Right to work hard, have incentive, a right to life and liberty then there is the right to the fruits of our labors.
Ron references again I Samuel and how the kings desires may be thwarted, by fighting for these issues.
    16. What is the role of government? Founding Fathers said the role of gov’t is the protection of liberty!! (17:35)
Our experiment is about to end. Are we transforming from a Republic into a dictatorship? Describes what the government is doing. (18:00)
    17. Read the constitution carefully for our roles as citizens. The Constitution restraints are placed upon the Federal government! (19:05)
LETS RESTORE LIBERTY to this county and PROSPERITY, and PEACE!!!!

So, send this video and the listed items to a Christian friend who may not be convinced. There are many other videos and documents which exhibit his values.

Just as the Constitution may not have the word “God” mentioned God’s principles are well contained within it AND it builds upon the previous and most famous unanimous Declaration of dependance upon Him.

    Have a blessed day

  • Go ahead, vote not to lose and we all WILL AGAIN!

Here is a four part audio of a speech from 2007′s original Tea Party gathering at Faneuil Hall in Boston.

I do not remember the name of the person who presented this speech, maybe someone may help identify him. As we listen to him speak we recognize the same problem happening today as it did in 2008. Some of the names have changed but the problem with selecting the right candidate remains the challenge.

Ron Paul is the only constitutional candidate who knows the presidents job description well written in Article II. He also understands the assigned Constitutional spending allowances also well written and located in Article I Section 8.

Please take the time to remember the real roots of the Tea Party via these audios and notice that now in 2012 the problem has not changed and needs to quickly.

    Some lines from the speech….

“Conservatives must stop contenting themselves from losing as slowly as possible.”

“Why vote not to lose while a principled candidate who CAN win is running and after winning will actually do the right thing?”

“Pat Robertson (2008) had endorsed Rudi Giuliani…..Pat Robertson may be the biggest looser.”

“Paul Wyrick said, “Now that Romney has flipped (or flopped) our way he’s ok.”

“There are no flips or flops nor any I voted for the bill before I voted against it from Ron Paul!”

“Let’s vote to win. Forget the media’s invitation of voting for the best presidential candidate we’re going to vote for the candidate who will make the best presdent, Dr. Ron Paul!”

Part I  (I’m sorry, I didn’t have intro and do not know how much I missed at the beginning of speech)

    Part II

    Part III

    Part IV

    Have a blessed day.

  • Are you a conservative hypocrite?

I challenge your knowledge of the ISSUES!!! Can you take your blinders off for awhile and pretend you still desire to receive instruction?

Why is it so many conservatives seek to vote for the “newcomers” to the cause of spending cuts? Many voters have voted and will soon vote for Romney or Santorum to cut the spending despite the fact they have supported big spending in the past. Look at this posted video of Mitt Romney seeking to take as much money from the government as he can to make the Olympics successful!!!! Both Mitt and Santorum had their hands in that spending spree!!! Neither seem to have a guilty conscience about spending nor the taking of the taxpayers’ money!!

Ron Paul has never voted for higher taxes nor unconstitutional big spending bills and has the best budget recovery plan. I don’t think he even travels on the publicly funded subways!! He’s been walking the talk for twelve terms in congress!!! Right from the beginning he has been voting correctly! None of this flipping like Mitt Romney nor any Santorum forgive me speeches where he states “When you’re part of the team, sometimes you take one for the team for the leader, and I made a mistake,” are you going to fall for that line…..again?

Next, why is it so many of you called conservative voters seek the “newcomers” in the cause of pro-life? Many will vote for Romney and Santorum to protect life when they didn’t use to and have flipped and flopped on the issue. See Santorum sitting (on stage!) and agreeing with Arlen Spector’s 1995 presidential announcement speech including the need to protect the woman’s right to choose abortion!!!!

Dr. Ron Paul never has flipped nor flopped and has always been pro-life. He’s even delivered over four thousand babies!!! How ironic is that to be able to vote for a candidate with true credentials in the cause of life!!!

So, I ask, how in this fallen world can any of you so called conservative voters vote for these other two when you have a solid and proven Constitutionalist such as Ron Paul? Let me tell you why, you’re all neo-conservatives who can’t kick the desire to go to war with other nations and Ron Paul’s has this foreign policy which is constitutionally based and called the non-interventionist position. “Blessed are the peace makers…not the war makers”, Ron Paul quoting scripture support for his position which was ours as a nation until ten years ago. He also supports the Christian just war principles. His position goes against your fighting spirit!! Go ahead police the world and drive our young blood six feet into the ground and our national debt to the moon!!!

So, now take a long look in the mirror, what you see is a hypocrite!!! You’re not really pro-life because you seek to take innocent lives in unjust wars over seas and vote for phoney pro-life candidates. Remember, being pro-life is not just to protect the innocent life in the womb but to prevent the unjust killing of “innocent” people.

In addition to that you don’t truly want to stop the spending, even when we’re already broke!! You have a need to spend more on wars causing us all to go further into an unrecoverable level of debt!!!

Isn’t that just wonderful, we have a humble gentleman in Ron Paul and you can’t see to send him a vote to be president because….why??? Does everyone think Paul is going to legalize all the drugs? No, he’s talking about getting the federal government out of the war on drugs programs. The states will take care of these drug issues instead. Now, go ahead tell me why else? Please take off your blinders, kick you’re killing habit. Vote for Ron Paul for a true change for the better. Restore America NOW!!!!

Here is a video of Arlen Spector announcing his presidential run back in March of 1995. Rick Santorum may be seen sitting to the left of Arlen Specter clapping and nodding with approval and support!!! Do you care to know to what is he shaking and clapping to?

If that’s not enough, fool me once, etc, nine years later in 2004 Santorum also endorsed the since deceased Democrat Senator Spector in his senate re-election bid instead of the conservative Pat Toomey. Do we not yet see a problem with Santorum’s wisdom and discernment?

All you so called conservative Rick Santorum supporters, PLEASE note these spots on the tape:

Here is a list of points on the recording for you to quickly check out for yourself!!

3’46 mark: “In 1996, I intend to win the other house — the White House — with ten commitments to America… including a woman’s right to choose…

13’22 mark: “Even though we have this historic opportunity for these achievements, there are those in our party who would lead us down a different path — and squander this unique moment in our nation’s history — by using our political capital — to pursue a radical social agenda — that would end a woman’s right to choose…

13’48 mark: “When Pat Robertson says there is no constitutional doctrine of separation between Church and State, I say he is wrong…

14’31 mark: “When Ralph Reed says a pro-choice Republican isn’t qualified to be our President, I say the Republican Party will not be intimidated or blackmailed by those kinds of threats.I, and millions of other pro-choice Republicans, will not be disenfranchised and made second class citizens.

15’33 mark: “… it is not Christian, or religious, or Judeo-Christian to bring God into politics; or to advocate intolerance and promote exclusion.

15’54 mark: “I want to take abortion out of politics. I want to keep the Republican Party focused on the vital economic and foreign policy issues — and leave moral issues such as abortion to the conscience of the individual. I believe abortion is an issue to be decided by women…

16’40 mark: “I pledge to lead the fight to strip the strident anti-choice language from the Republican National platform…”

Ok, you may now put up your shield and forget all that you’ve read. Go vote your conscience. Ron Paul is not a politician, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney are big politicians!!!

Last of all I’m not saying that one man will save this nation. What will save this nation is when we the people repent from our sins and turn back to the one true God of the bible. Let us once again be a great nation by doing what is righteous. Let us discern wisely who will be able to carry this out for us.

Thanks for reading and have a blessed day!

  • Dear Atheists, Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

The debate will be never ending between atheists and those who believe in God. Many times the debate is not available to be heard nor read. Here is an article about a well known atheist, his name is Christopher Hitchens. He died 12/15/11, possibly not believing in our Lord Jesus Christ. I say possibly because we can’t know the heart in his last days.

This is a great article presented by Doug Wilson who is a believer. At the end of the article there is a debate available for reading. Not that anyone could be converted by mere words, it does take the Holy Spirit to regenerate and prepare the heart for faith. So, fear not, it’s not these words that could convert an atheist so please read on and enjoy.

I do request that any who come here as an atheist that you take a bit of time to read and then review the debate at the end of the article. Its a six part series debate about ”Is Christianity Good for the World?”. Please, do consider wisely the resources you have in this world. Resources to not only live life to but also to understand how to have it in greater abundance.

Please see here the article about the death of Christopher Hitchens.

It seems to me that there is an ever increase of anger from atheists towards Christianity. It seems quite short sited in what they do when they tear down Christianity and have nothing to leave in its place. There are standards we are to govern ourselves, families, businesses, church and civil governments. These are all exactly true and there is nothing which will replace Christianity for it is the only way for man to live. Man has no set authority to abide by other than what we feel in our hearts at any convenient time or by some reason based on limited facts or understanding. These are the reasons we need to fear the Lord Christ and then begin to have knowledge.

See Proverbs 2:1-6. “My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; THEN shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

    (edited 12/23/12)

Here is another debate online this time between Craig and Hitchens.

Here is a summary of that two hour debate between Craig and Hitchens.

    Have a blessed day!

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
And those who have not heard shall understand.

To all active atheists who have made their lives not too much unlike Mr. Hitchens I do hope for your salvation. For a fuller story on how to change our walk and draw nearer to God go here to read about it’s beginnings.
